1963 UK *BLACK & GOLD* LABEL MONO LP
2nd PRESSING WITH **'NORTHERN SONGS'** PUBL. CREDITS
This rare 1963 '2nd' pressing mono copy is on the UK black & gold Parlophone label PMC 1202Both labels carry the rarer 'Northern Songs' publishing credits where applicable
The 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the side two label
Housed in the correct, front laminated, flipback 'E.J. Day..' sleeve
Complete with original lined inner-sleeve
Matrices: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N

DiscVisual: EXCELLENT
Very thick and heavy vinyl with very clean and bright surfaces retaining their deep gloss shine.
The surfaces display a few minor non-audible/feelable surface marks and some sleeve removal hairlines under intense direct light.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Visual: EXCELLENT
I have played the entire disc at volume and can report that there is very little deterioration in sound quality.
Reproduction is overall loud and clear with just a few soft ticks between some of the tracks but no groove damage/distortion.
There are no heavy clicks, jumps, repeats or other major audible faults

A correct early 'E.J. Day' example with the 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right-hand corner
The front panel is very clean with extremely light handling and storage wear. The front laminate is uncreased and retains its gloss.
There is some light wear to the corners but the opening edge is clean and still in good shape.
The rear panel is clean and white with no writing or marking.
Some damage is visible to the lower left corner but all seams are strong and unsplit and the spine is clean and readable.
