1963 UK 2nd PRESS GOLD & BLACK MONO LP
**NORTHERN SONGS** LABEL CREDITS
Here is a rare mono gold & black 2nd pressing with the 'Northern Songs' label publishing credits on both labels.
It is a little below the condition I normally like to offer, but have listed it due to its rarity.
This rare 1963 second mono pressing is on the UK black and gold Parlophone label PMC 1202
The labels carry the 'Northern Songs' publishing credits for songs: 1 & 2 on side one and songs: 4 & 6 on side two.
Both labels carry omit the 'Sold in UK..' but carry 'Parlophone Co...' rims
The 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the side two label
Housed in a correct front laminated, flipback 'Ernest J. Day..' cover, with the 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme right corner.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' plastic lined inner-sleeve
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/GP & 1,2/GH
CONDITION
Labels:VERY GOOD
Disc Visual & Audio: GOODPlayed many times with the surfaces showing some noticeable surface scuffs and light scratches.
For the most part the music plays very loudly and clearly with just some light intermittant audible wear
The disc would have been an audible VG but for two tiny marks which cause one, 1-groove jump on tracks 3 and 4.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
GOOD
The cover shows plenty of handling and storage wear and has small splits to the upper and lower seams.
The front panel is clean but the rear shows some discolouration and a small name written in the upper right corner.
A section of the lower flipback is missing but the spine is clear, clean and strong.
