Description
This is your absolutely original first pressing sleeve that, fifty years ago, housed one of the highly highly prized black and gold labeled parlophone disks. The disk is unfortunately missing from the set, but it retains its original 'emitex' inner sleeve.
The sleeve itself is in acceptable shape, good- to good. It has several creases and a bunch of tape on the back, however all the seams are in tact (albeit with some paper loss and chipping. The front looks really nice, however, and would make a great display piece--who doesn't want to own the first Beatles album ever produced?
The emitex sleeve looks decent, but is completely taped on all sides. Someone wrote their initials in the upper right hand corner.
