Make an offer . I’m selling a few Beatles albums for a friend that’s a collector. Trying to make his rent. I’ve played the records I’m selling for him. Both these Please Please Me mono albums are two the best I’ve heard.
Really clean 1963 UK Beatles Please Please Me album. MT tax code, no publishing on labels ( first recorded etc. ) Cover is E J Day,also Excellent,as inner Emitex sleeve.
Technically a fourth pressing after gold label mono, gold label stereo ,and no publishing like this one, but with 33 1/3 on labels.
Catalog number PMC 1202 matrix side one XEX 421-1 N - Mother 1 stamper OO ( 55 )
Matrix side two XEX 422-1-N Mother 4 stamper MO ( 45 )
Those are both good low stampers in the scheme of things.
Parlophone rims on labels circa 1963.
Has hairlines which any record will have after being taken out of inner sleeve. The sound is remarkable.
No discernible noise between tracks. I don’t believe you will find an upgrade in respect to the sound. Record,cover,inner sleeve visually 8/10. There is a store sticker on rear of cover, you may be able to take it off, it’s so old it looks like sticker is really to fall of, I just don’t prefer to take it off, as it harkens back to a record store I’m sure long since defunct.
Sound 10/10 ,and extremely quiet. I live in an apartment building hence never play over 4/10 and this is loud .
Bass on I Saw Her Standing There is right in your face.
Emitex sleeve is as clean as picture suggests.
