A very early pressing of the Beatles 1st album Please Please Me.

1st Parlophone Stereo Yellow Black Label and only the 3rd pressing.

The following is a link to the 3rd stereo pressing and ultra rare 1st Yellow/black label.

http://beatlebay.co.uk/stereo.html

This very rare 3rd pressing and 1st yellow/black is distinguished by the additional 33 1/3 printed on the label just after the YEX-94 and YEX-95 Codes and with engraved codes 1P & 1G on the vinyl itself, as well as the wording and positioning of the track listings and credits on both label sides. There are no TAX codes on this label.

The sleeve is an original 1st print and the inner sleeve is also the original sleeve.

Overall, the vinyl is in very good condition with no major defects. There are some very (very) minor surface scratches on the vinyl but this is not reflected in the sound quality with only very minor crackles evident during the track gaps. No jumps, or skips and no noticeable crackling on the tracks during play. Great stereo separation and sound quality.

The original laminated sleeve has some minor shelf wear in places but overall is still in good condition. The inner sleeve is original with minor wear and creasing around the opening with a few small tears at the opening.

This is not a mint copy, however it IS a very good copy and super rare pressing, with only one owner (purchased upon release)

A very rare pressing that is now considered one of the rarest examples of this Beatles album, and rarely does it ever come up for sale.

Please feel free to ask any questions and good luck.

As always, this will be posted very very securely and swiftly.

Thanks.
