NOTES
  After fifty four year this beautiful lady is still in a very good thru excellent condition.  Published in June 1963, a genuine THIRD PRESS of Please Please Me, the Fab's first album as well as the first Beatles pressing that was released on Yellow / Black Parlophone.

On auction here, the rare and very sought-after 3rd Press, Label Variation A (no 33⅓).

Copy is in an allover very good thru excellent condition.

If you are a collector who doesn't own this pressing already, you should go for it.   Comes complete with original "USE EMITEX" inner sleeve and sits in a glossy Garrod & Lofthouse Cover. 

Since this is not the first time that we sell a third press (both WITH and withOUT 33⅓) and we are crystal-clear on all the disputes regarding  PMC 1202 (which is harshly discussed over some 35 years now): Please refrain from mails like "This is a fourth, I have it mself,  and the (highly accepted) authority 'Rare Record Price Guide' says this and that..."
WHY? Pretty familiar with this particular "topic", we posses 13 copies, 6 WITH, the rest withOUT. The good thing with a lot is that one can  compare all mother/stampers combinations (9/3 o'cl), a very convenient tool provided by Parlophone only (and some early Capitol releases in  the U.S.). And here we can see that all copies span all possible time frames (WITH, withOUT, withOUT, WITH... and so on), which is clear evidence  that we talk about different label variations here, not different pressings. Acknowledged & done. We ONLY rely on what we hold in our very own hands and  hence are able to in-depth evaluate OURSELVES.

Also, the "Rare Record Price Guide" is an authority regarding prices of rare records (as GOLDMINE is when it comes to "on how to grade vinyl").  However, none of them are specialized in Beatles, which is a terrible problem. As an example, try to explore the PRECISE order of pressings  (and label variations, up to EIGHT per release) of original Australian Beatles vinyl using these tools, and you'll end-up nowhere. ONE example.  (Not to mention the many many many personal websites that provide "save info" after googling or looking up sources like the "Rare record price guide",  or even wikipedia.)

Last but not least, experienced collectors (or groups of collectors) like, for instance, TheBeatles-Collection share our opinion. These guys, too,  believe in what they can hold in their hands and are thus able to compare themselves...

If available, audible checks were performed with an ORTOFON Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier,  using a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover, Vinyl, optional additions and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after, which are legal part of this auction.

Front laminated cover,  completely glossy, made of strong cardboard. Back has some greying along rims.   Slightest signs of ring wear on the back's left side.
Spine is perfect and in readable condition.
Absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, or tears. 

Both labels are clean. No writings, stains, tears, or spots. Some wear around spindle hole areas.

  Original "USE EMITEX" inner sleeve feels strong, straight, great "color", seam split on sides. 

Vinyl is shiny, both sides. Harilines, where Side B looks slightly better. This record hasn't been played "to often". 

NOT audio graded. We grade most, but not all of our records audible.

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

• Grading  Every record has been carefully graded visually by ourselves. Most records are audio-graded, too. We grade NM/NM-, EX+/EX/EX-, VG+/VG/VG-.

A Note On Returns / Return Policy

We are two (crazy?) regular average women (Ginger & Fleur Isabell) who love Beatles, thus collecting their records, we're no dealers.  We buy vinyl to acquire better copies of what we have already, then selling our second, third, fourth copies. We are classic collectors and hence describe and grade what we sell to our best knowledge, possessing a very high, sophisticated level of knowledge, in particular regarding European records.  

If -for whatever reason- our description doesn't turn out to be appropriate, like, for instance, a song skips or jumps, vinyl isn't flat as assured  -these types of "error"-, we certainly accept a return (at buyer's expense), for a collector's satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. That certainly happened  already. We know that nobody buys a record from us "just for fun". However, as a very basic rule, all of our sales are personal und final.

ALL WE TRY TO AVOID IS TO SEND RARE, VALUABLE VINYL AROUND THE GLOBE "IN VAIN", JUST TO SATISFY A PERSON'S CURIOSITY, FOR EVERY "ROUND-TRIP" IS A HUGE RISK EXPOSING THE RECORD.
