1964 Capitol Record Club “Surprise Gift from The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Kingston Trio” tri-fold card with flexi-disc. But the real rarity here is the four-page letter insert that’s also included - very scarce and rarely offered for sale, in any condition.

The tri-fold card is in beautiful condition, with no wear and no significant creases, and all three panels are fully connected with no splits. The center play hole has been punched out,but I see no needle marks or scratches to suggest that it was ever played. There are a couple of light handling scuffs and a thin brownish line of discoloration along the upper left side (picture #4) .

The folded letter insert measures 6 7/8” x 6 7/8”. The pink paper has held up well with no fading, and the black and red print is vivid. There are no major creases.

There’s some minor discoloration in the lower left of the first page (picture #6). It appears to be age-related, rather than a stain.

The back side, page 4 (picture #7), has a few random smudges - upper left corner, far right edge and bottom right area (below “Membership Secretary”). I couldn’t capture it in the pics, but all they all have a reddish tint - this could very well have happened during the printing process. There are also three tiny stains/brown dots.

Picture #8 shows the inside (pages 2 & 3). There’s a small 5/8” tear at the bottom (right at the fold) and another 1” tear that veers off to the left. It’s less visible when looking at the outside (pages 1 & 4) and barely visible at all when it’s folded (pictures #5 & 6).

Very nice and very rare piece - it will be packed very carefully for shipping.
