Beatles - RARE GREEN VINYL Abbey Road, Apple, UK, PCS-7088, 1978

Description

This is a rare 1978 reissue of Abbey Road on Green Vinyl. It is a British import with a made in England sticker on the back cover. The mix is a special cut that was done for this colored version only, because the metal parts used on the normal black vinyl would not fit on the machines used for the colored vinyl (which were connected to a different set of vinyl supply tubes), so this is a mix you can’t get anywhere else. I think the mastering is very close to the original -1/-2 mix. My copy is very clean aside from a couple of tiny low level clicks. I just finished playing it and it sounds awesome!
