This is a 12-inch single with a 3:25 play time on the A-side.

This is Capitol Records SPRO 9929, and it was issued in December of 1986.

This 12-inch single is pressed on WHITE VINYL!

It comes in a clear mylar plastic outer sleeve with a gray 9-inch X 4 ½-inch sticker attached to the front of the plastic sleeve.

“HAPPY XMAS (WAR IS OVER)” was originally released December 1, 1971 as Apple Records 1842 on green vinyl.

THIS RECORD IS A VERY RARE LIMITED EDITION PROMOTIONAL PRESSING OF JUST 2500 COPIES!

It has custom silver “faces” label.

It is definitely a LIMITED EDITION! ONLY 2500 COPIES OF THE RECORD WERE PRODUCED!!!

This record was NOT sold in stores. My guess is that you had to be in a select group of people (perhaps individuals in the recording industry, Capitol Records executives, high-ups at select radio stations, etc.) to receive a copy.

The WHITE VINYL is NEAR MINT. There are no signs of vinyl surface reaction to the plastic cover that sometimes occurs. I assume it’s because the vinyl was put into an inner sleeve early in its life. It is now in a Discwasher V.R.P. sleeve.

The CLEAR PLASTIC MYLAR OUTER SLEEVE & STICKER is in NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION with just some slight normal bends and ripples that come with a plastic cover. There is some light wear on the top and bottom of the right side of the gray sticker that was caused by disc impression.
Now, think about this question: How cool would it be to be the owner of a John Lennon Record where ONLY 2500 were produced worldwide??
The answer: VERY COOL, For Sure!!!
