Description
This is a very rare Beatles 'collector's' album. I bought this genuine vintage pressing of THE BEATLES - RENAISSANCE MINSTRELS Volume II via mail order back in the day. This is a genuine TRADE MARK (Trademark) OF QUALITY pressing.
It has a plain green cover with a glued printed back title sheet. I am the original owner and have played it maybe three times (once to grade it the other day).
I have stored it in a plastic sleeve since I got it. Buying albums like this back in the day was a tricky thing and they were rarely sealed. Check the many photos. There aren't many of these around.
I use GOLDMINE grading standards:
DISC - Looks NM, plays NM+ Side 2 starts off with a bit of surface noise, but quickly gets better. That track is sourced from a vinyl LP, so it may be from the source. Has white labels with giant number on each.
COVER - VG/VG+ TMOQ round sticker was removed from the front cover by someone before it was sold to me thru the mail. You can see where it was. You can see two tiny traces of stains in the upper left (came that way). I NEVER bought an early boot LP that was shrinkwrapped via mail order. Some covers looked used/handled. It was the 'nature of the beast.' You took your chances.
The back cover has the printed title sheet glued on. Bottom right corner ding'd a little. Upper right shows slight bend upward on FC and some where the edge of the record is. It is ding'd some at the same corner.
It was hard to get any boot LP's through the mail back in the 70's, etc. with NO mail damage. Even if I ordered multiple ones at the same time. And there was no returning unless the record was broken in transit or something was horribly wrong.
I am pretty obsessive, so I may point out more than I should for my own good, but it's my nature. I am grading these by PLAYING them and looking at them. Check my Feedback. I have learned they don't credit back their fee if I end up partially refunding some of the shipping.
LP's are removed from their outer sleeve to help protect against edgewear and sent in plastic protective sleeve.
