Description

This is the original UK LP, by the BEATLES, REVOLVER, 1966 RARE 1st press *STEREO*, on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PCS 7009, with the 1st press Garrod and Lofthouse STEREO flipback cover and the original "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve, matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- YEX 605-1, SIDE 2:- YEX 606-1. EMI stamping codes are, SIDE 1:- 3/AM, SIDE 2:- 2/GL. The labels have the "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credit, "Sold in the UK" label credit, and embossed tax code KT on SIDE 1, this VERY RARE 1st pressing STEREO was released 13th August 1966, MONO was still the preferred choice of the buying public, the Mono Revolver sold in massive quantities, but STEREO was still a 2nd choice and thus the STEREO pressing of Revolver had limited appeal and not so many were pressed compared to the Mono, original UK 1st press STEREO's are VERY RARE!. The Garrod and Lofthouse 1st issue flipback cover is in a *STUNNING NEAR MINT* condition, the cover is beautifully clean front and back, on the back it is quite common to see handling marks and general wear to the left hand side, were it is prodominatley black, not this stuuning cover, jet black!, the corners and edges are razor sharp and tight, the spine hold it's original broadness, and is fully intact and perfectly readable, no wear at all, the cover has no unwanted writing, no seam splits, thier is not even any lamination creasing on the front of the cover, A ABSOLUTELY STUNNING NEAR MINT COVER!!!. The vinyl is in a *STUNNING NEAR MINT* condition, beautifully clean and gleaming, with all it's original shine and luster, I have not test played it, I feel it's way too risky, considering the almost flawless condition, FANTASTIC condition!!!. The label's are in NEAR MINT condition, their are no scuffs, no unwanted writing, their is no damage to the text on the labels, beautiful crisp clean, unworn label's, their are 1-2 very light small spider marks around the spindal hole area's, and by the STUNNING condition of the vinyl, it looks to have been played 2 times maximum, FANTASTIC label's. The vinyl is housed in it's original 1966 "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve and in NEAR MINT condition, thier are no seam splits, no unwanted writing, lovely and clean and crisp, beautiful condition. Altogether a ABSOLUTELY STUNNING copy of this VERY RARE original UK 1st Press Stereo Revolver LP!. Methods of payment accepted are, UK CHEQUE, UK CASH, $US CASH, IMO IN UK POUNDS, and BIDPAY, all payments made payable to me MR J AYRES.
