RARE **FIRST PRESSING**, DOCUMENTED AS A **LOUD CUT**, COMPLETE, AND A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE
ORIGINAL 1965 UK Parlophone MONO 12" Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST PRESSING of ‘RUBBER SOUL’.
This FIRST PRESSING variant is documented as the LOUD CUT. The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and with ‘Sold in UK…’ and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 579-1/Side 2: XEX 580-1. Side 1 stampers: 2/LH, Side 2: 3/LL. The Embossed ‘KT’ tax code is visible to the centre of the side 1 record label.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex’ Inner Bag, and is housed in its ORIGINAL 1st Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The album plays extremely well with NO skips or pops.
The record labels are in very nice excellent condition, with some light spider trails around the centre hole. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Respectable excellent minus condition, the vinyl shows some light inaudible surface scratches, but nothing major. The lined inner bag is in excellent condition, just has a small ¾" split to one of the seams. The Garrod and Lofthouse Laminated Picture sleeve is in RESPECTABLE excellent minus condition, showing mild corner bruises to a couple of the corners, and some light handling marks to the reverse. The spine edge is firm and perfectly readable. Please note that the previous owner’s name has been hand written in ink to the reverse of the sleeve just below the flipback.
Overall a CLEAN, RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of this Original UK FIRST ISSUE Rare Variant.
