Description
Here’s one of the really great ones for the Apple Records label enthusiasts (like myself).
A 1968 First Pressing of “Ob La Di Ob La Da” b/w “Birthday” from the country of Peru.
Not many songs from The White Album were pulled for 45s in any country and evidently stock Apple labels didn’t arrive in time for the first pressing of this release in Peru. Bad luck back then is good luck today for Apple Label collectors who search for the most unusual yet official designs.
Featuring a rich purple background color and more of a standard font in silver print. These types of pressings aren’t for everyone but those of us interested know it doesn’t get any more unique than this.
Condition of this single is solid VG+. The important labels are very nice and the vinyl plays fine. Not an earth shattering experience but a passable listening session. Some noise here and there but nothing bad.
The original company sleeve is included as pictured.
I hope someone is going to fill a long opened hole in their collection with this offering.
