UK pressing - Parlophone - PCS 7009 - stereo
The Beatles masterpiece from 1966 has sold a lot of copies over the years and has been on catalogue continuously since it was issued. That's a lot of copies sold and a lot of label variations, but original 1966 copies in decent condition have become almost impossible to find which is why I'm pleased to offer this beautiful example. It has the black & yellow Parlophone label with the "Sold In the UK" label text and "The Gramophone Co Ltd" text on the label rim. The matrix numbers are YEX 605-1 and YEX 606-1
It has the flip-back Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve which is also in beautiful condition with no sign of the fading or ringwear to which the back cover is so susceptable. The album has been kept in a heavy duty plastic sleeve since purchase which explains the exceptional condition.
The disc is in near-mint condition, lovely and shiny without any noticeable marks and it plays great. It has the original "Emitex" polylined inner bag.
The value of original copies of this album continues to rise and rise so it's not only great music it's also a great investment.
