Beatles Revolver LP
Rare 1st pressing PMC 7009 Near Mint/Ex condition with remix 11 of "Tomorrow never knows" in mono.
This 1966 Beatles LP is the much sought after and very rare to find in this condition "Revolver" with the b-side matrix XEX 606-1. This indicates that it features the almost immediately withdrawn Remix 11 of "Tomorrow never Knows". Apparently, the story goes that John Lennon wasn't happy with this remix and asked for it to be changed, but not before several thousand copies had already been issued.And so , these Lp's became almost the holy grail to Beatles fans.
This copy is in NM/EX condition.
The vinyl record is in EX condition, with no background noise,hiss or scratches audible.It has of course got the all important 606-1 matrix on side 2.
The record label has the "sold in U.K" and "the gramaphone Co."text and is clear and strong . The only downside being that someone has written their initials either side of the Parlophone pound sign.
The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is again NM with a strong spine,foldbacks,no markings and little sign of age.It has the "Dr.Robert "listing as opposed to "Doctor Robert" found on later pressings.Again,making this a rare collectible.
This really is a fine example of a very rare record , one that is getting harder and harder to find in this condition.
