Description

The Beatles Revolver Mono First Pressing Matrix side one XEX 605-2, side two XEX 606-1. Very Rare First Mono Pressing of the Beatles UK album Revolver.
The first pressings of Revolver were only pressed during the first day of pressing and were stopped by George Martin.  He replaced the original pressing of Tomorrow Never Knows with a more suitable mix.  This pressing has the original mix which is about 6 seconds longer. Also these first pressings have the song Doctor Robert as Dr Robert on the label.
The cover has some evidence of aging with darkening along the edges and some minor folds.  There are no seam splits and I would rate it a VG. The labels are in pretty good shape and would be rated VG with some spindle marks. The vinyl is also VG with some minor scratching and smudging. The mothers and stampers are Side one 1 A, Side two 2 RL. Comes with original inner sleeve in VG condition.
All in all, a respectable copy of very rare and hard to come by first pressing the Mono version of the UK Revolver album by the Beatles.
