Description
THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This early UK 1st MONO pressing dates from the album's initial August 1966 release and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
It contains the alternate version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' which is only available on mono pressings with the 606-1 matrix.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The side 2 label carries the earlier 'Dr Robert' spelling & the 'KT' purchase tax code .

Stamper codes: 1/GA & 1/GT
Vinyl weight: 160g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with a small mono front indicator.
Complete with an original 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & bright with a moderate amount of faint spindle trails around each undamged centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright, displaying just a handful of small and light surface marks & hairlines in strong daylight, but certainly nothing deep of 'feelable'. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals numerous light/wispy hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine, but again nothing major.
Play: GOOD
This copy has been played many times and the audio quality has noticeably deteriorated. Some light background is audible throughout but it has not been abused and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such major audible faults. This can only be seen as a collection-filler until a better one comes along.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A clean & fully intact example with some general light storage/handling wear. The only significant blemish is a long scratch across the front panel but there is no writing, seam splits or any other major faults elsewhere.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Clean & flat with just some light sotrabe winkles and age-toning to the paper but no writing, tears or seam splits.
