Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Labels: VERY GOOD

Bright & clean with some spindle marks and slight hole wear but no major faults.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Pristine, glossy & unmarked surfaces which in strong daylight display no scuffs, scratches or blemishes to either side. Close and careful inspection of both sides directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals a only a sparkling rainbow shine and some insignificant wispy inner-sleeve/paper hairlines but there are no other marks or wear whatsoever on this extremely well treated copy.

Play: EXCELLENT

This copy has received just some very careful play on good quality equipment and sounds extremely impressive throughout. The side 1 run-in is very quiet and leads into a superb sounding 'Taxman' with a clean and undistorted guitar ruff & solo. The easily and frequently worn quieter tracks: 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here, There & Everywhere' play cleanly and clearly with no background crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel. Even the delicate introduction to 'Love You to' plays without any clicks, pops or drama. 'Yellow Submarine' is crackle-free and 'She Said, She Said' plays without the usual groovewear distortion which usually marrs this electrifying track. Side 2 is a joy throughout with every track playing without any wear or damage. In fact, apart from a few light ticks ont he band between tracks 1 & 2, it is faultless. The superior alternate mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' with its differenly mixed sound effects and extended fade-out is icing on the cake of this highly respectable copy which would be difficult to upgrade.

EXCELLENT

An impressively clean, bright and firm example which retains an unscratched high-gloss front laminate which displays just a single light bend to the lower left corner but no spine or 'thumbnail' creases at all. The corners and both opening edges are clean and undamaged with no bumps, tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean and black where it should be with no ringwear or missing paper. Apart from a tiny cross in pen on the 'PMC' in the upper right corner, it is unmarked. All flipbacks perfectly clean & intact and both seams and the spine are unstressed, sunsplit & totally undamaged.
