Labels: EXCELLENT
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces retain their deep gloss 'as new' finish with no couding or dulling to either surface.
Viewed in strong direct daylight, just 2 blemishes are visible on side 1. The first is a very light 5 cm hairline scratch and the second is a 2cm light fingernail scuff line. Both are non-feelable & non-audible.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a a bright 'rainbow' shines and a few wispy paper hairlines but no further marks, scratches or wear.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
Pristine looking copies of this LP can so often be play badly playworn and top sounding copies of this title are extremely hard to find. However, I am pleased to report that this one does not let you down.
From the outset, the undistorted opening guitar riff on 'Taxman' play from a silent side 1 run-in points to the fact that this copy has received only some careful play on high quality equipment.
Further careful listening at volume reveals no evidence peakwear groovewear distortion or any background crackle in either channel on any track.
Even the easily and usually worn 'Eleanor Rigby', 'Here There & Everywhere' and exposed introduction of 'Love You To' play perfectly without any backgroud crackle or groovewear.
Apart from a single tick in the band between tracks 1 & 2 on side 2, all bands play silently and without any kind of intereference.
I fully guarantee that you will not be disappointed with this copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This is a very clean and firm example which displays a white & unyellowed front panel with just some minor bends to the upper left corner but no other significant signs of wear.
All the corners are unbumped & square and both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean and black where it should be with some light creasing to the upper right area but no marks, writing or missing paper.
There is slight wear to the spine laminate but the text is clean and undamaged.
All flipbacks and both seams are clean, strong & undamaged.
Inner-sleever: EXCELLENT
Clean, flat & white with no discolouration tears or splits.
