'REVOLVER'
1966 UK **1st STEREO** PRESSING LP
This excellent 1966 first stereo pressing on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The side 2 label carries the 'Doctor Robert' spelling and the KT tax/price code.
Housed in a front laminated 'tri-flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse stereo cover.
Complete with original black & white 1966 EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 1/OO & 1/RH

Visual: EXCELLENT
Bright, clean and glossy surfaces undulled by overplay or careless handling.
Side 1 bears just a single light fingernail scuff and side 2 displays only a few sleeve removal hairlines under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no deep/feelable marks or scratches anywhere and the disc lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: VERY GOOD PLUS
Some low level intermittant background is audible throughout but there is no 'loud passage' groovewear distortion.
There are no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Strong and bright with an unscratched, high-gloss laminate, this example bears just light wear only with no major faults.
There is slight discolouration toward the spine areas and on the rear 'flipbacks' but all corners and opening edges are clean and unworn.
The rear panel is clean and solid black with no ringwear, marks, writing or missing paper.
The spine is square, clean and undamaged with no missing laminate and all flipbacks and seams are strong, intact and unsplit.
