THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This EXCELLENT UK MONO 2nd pressing dates from late-1966 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text and have 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts
The side 2 label has the earliest 'Dr. Robert' spelling & 'KT' purchase tax code on side 1
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-2
Stamper codes: 6/GGT & 1/GDR
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve

Both are clean & bright with a moderate collection of light spindle trails on each.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a small number of harmless light hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
The respectable sounding copy has received only careful play on quality equipment and with without any significant audible issues. My playcheck found no crackle or wear on 'Eleanor Rigby' and just a hint of background on the delicate 'Here, There & Everywhere'. Apart from that, a little low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault overall.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and clean example which has a slightly off-white but high-gloss front panel where the only significant sign of wear is a bend to the upper left corner which has resulted in some laminate lift in that area. There are some 'thumbnail' wrinkles to the front opening edge but all corner tips are free from any bumps or bruising. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and the seams are smooth & unstressed.
The spine is clean, unworn and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a few gentle storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
