Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces of this outstanding copy are totally unmarked and 'as new' upon close inspection in strong daylight and retain all of their deep-gloss 'as new' shine with no cloudy or dull patches to any area. Close & careful examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp display nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss an a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines, but no scuffs, scratches or any other marks or wear. This beautiful copy lies 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This pristine sounding copy was played only once by its original owner and my careful play-check at volume confirms the sound to be 100% 'as new' throughout. There are no traces of groovewear, background or indeed any audible wear whatsoever on any track. Even the easily worn tracks such as 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here, There & Everywhere' play perfectly. Both run-ins and all bands play totally silently with no ticks, clicks or any other interference. This is the best sounding mono copy if this title I have offered for sale and the disc would never need upgrading. You will not be disappointed.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A really superior example which has been carefully and correctly stored in a non-smoking environment for the past 40 years. The front panel is brilliant white with no traces of discolouration to any area. In fact, apart from a few faint spine wrinkles & a small bend to the lower right corner, it is in perfect condition. All corners are square and unbumped and both opening edges appear untouched. The rear panel is perfectly clean & black with its only blemish being a faint set of initials written in the upper left corner and the impression of the same on the flipback above. However, apart from that this cover is essentially in the same condition as it left the shop a lifetime ago.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Perfectly clean & white with no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
