THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING* LP
This superb NEAR MINT STEREO pressing is c.1968 and on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
There is no purchase tax code visible around the centre of either label.
The side 2 label bears the 'Doctor Robert' spelling.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper codes: 3/PAH & 1/MR

A perfectly clean & unblemished pair with just literally two or three faint spindle marks around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, clean & glossy playing surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight - not a scuff, mark or scratch in sight. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine & a few harmless inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other significant or major blemishes. Both sides of this top quality copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly received just a few extremely careful plays on high-end equipment. The sound throughout my careful play check at volume was clean, warm & clear with with no groove/play wear or background noise evident on or between any track. An unbeatable audio copy of the superior 1st tube stereo cutting.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A clean, white and unyellowed example which retains an unblemished, gloss front panel. There are some light creases down the front of Paul's face & a few 'thumbnails' but all corners are sharp, square & unworn. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with some light bending towards the upper right corner but certainly no marks, writing or missing paper. All the flipbacks are clean & intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth and unstressed.

Clean & intact with just some minor storage bends but no writing, tears or splits.
