UK issue mono first press PMC 7009 with that crucial side 2 matrix XEX 606-1 (side 1 is XEX 605-2). I do not grade many of my 60s records as EX in respect of either sleeve or vinyl, believing they should be graded on same basis as newer records. Many would opt for EX here, I suspect, but I will stick with VG+, backed as ever by full money-back guarantee if LP is returned safely.
Sleeve has only light wear to front and back, most notably along top edge, though only here on close inspection. There is some brownness along bottom edge/left corner of front sleeve. On back, flipbacks lovely and intact with no writing and very little discolouration. Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
With vinyl, there are about half a dozen light marks on each side, but these are light and superficial, and not noticeable during playback (I have played this LP through twice and sound quality is definitely EX; it's only visually that I opt for the lower grading). A few fingermarks too, but a lovely gleam overall and lovely clean labels with little spindle wear. Not the original EMI polybag but has been housed in a decent 70s substitute polybag.
