1967/8 UK **STEREO** PRESSING LP

**EXCELLENT COPY**

This near mint 1967/8 stereo pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The side 2 label has the revised 'Doctor Robert' spelling.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.

Housed in a front laminated, 'tri-flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse stereo cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Pending' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 2/AO & 4/PM

Visual: EXCELLENT

Extremely well looked after with both surfaces retain their deep gloss, 'rainbow' shine.
Just a few light paper scuffs are visible on side 1 only but no other marks or scratches.
There is a very slight dish visible on side 2 which does not affect sound or play. Side 1 is 100% flat.

Audio: EXCELLENT

Carefully played and seldom played, this superb sounding copy is without any of the usual groovewear distortion usually associated with this LP.
Both run-ins and all bands are extremely quiet and all the music is warm, loud and clear without any crackle, clicks, pops, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.

Cover: EXCELLENT

The unyellowed front panel retains its high-gloss, unscratched laminate bearing just a three small 'thumbnails' on George's head but no other visible wear.
The corners are clean with just a hint of storagewear but the opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn on both sides.
The rear panel is clean and black with just a single light 'rub' above John's and Paul's head, but no other marks or writing.
The 'flipbacks', seams and spine are all undamaged and in perfect shape.
