THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'
1965 UK 1st PRESS STEREO LP
EARLY *NEAR MINT* COPY
This Near Mint copy of a 1965 UK 1st stereo pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3075
Both labels include the large 'STEREO' logo, 'Sold in UK..' texts & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 178-2 & YEX 179-2
Stamper numbers: 2/GA & 1/GH
Labels: NEAR MINT
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are in MINT condition viewed in natural light, bearing only a few wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise this is a totally pristine disc with no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever.
100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Barely played, this is a wonderful warm & clear 'as new' sounding disc with no trace of crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel or on any track.
Even the easily damaged 'Michelle', plays perfectly cleanly & clearly without any break-up or distortion in either channel.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently & there are absolutely no clicks, jumps, repeats or indeed any other audible wear anywhere.
N.B. I never grade anything played as 'MINT'.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 'thick' card example retaining a high-gloss front laminate bearing just some light creases towards the lower left corner but no 'thumbnails' or other wear.
The corners display some minor bruising but both opening edges extremely clean and sharp with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is pristine white & clean with no age discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, spine & seams are intact, clean & undamaged.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
All records are 100% guaranteed. Full refunds given if you are not satisfied
