My clearout continues!
I'm now clearing our a batch of classic rock, prog and 60's LPs that I bought in a collection a few years back, a pretty complete collection but I don't really need all the titles. Watch this space for more titles.......
you're bidding for:
Beatles - Rubber Soul '69 UK Stereo vinyl LP EX+/EX+ No Sold text mis-match sleeve
cat: PCS 3075 matrix: XEX 178-5 XEX 179-5
mothers/stampers:
The vinyl is stunning, glossy and clean with no noticable marks, only the faintest of fine paper marks visible when held to a bright light. Visually grades as EX+ and is very clsoe to NM. It also play grades as EX+ with great reproduction and beutifully quiet inbetween tracks. Both labels are also EX+ with no writing and only very lighht spindle wear, neither have the Sold in the UK text, demonstrating this to be one of the few pressed with such a label before the Black & Silver labels were introduced.
The laminated sleeve on this copy is also strong, but it doesn't match the record. The sleeve is the mono EJ Day issue, whereas the record is the Stereo press. (I bought this from the origina owner who bought it aroung 1969 and siad for years he didn;t realise the labels and sleeve didn't match.) The sleeve itslef is in EX+ condition, the spine is fantastic and clean and clear and the flipbacks are all inatct and flat to the sleeve. The front is glossy and bright with only a very few light creases marks. The corners are all sharp (see pics) with only the lightest of rubs and a tiny laminate lift on one corner. The rear is nice and clean and still pretty white, with no marks or writing. The red and white printed inner is VG+.
