Description
THE BEATLES
'RUBBER SOUL'
RARE 2nd PRESS GERMAN ODEON LP
This rare 1969 pressing on the blue Odeon label still carries the old 'SMO' catalogue number. Most copies with blue labels carried the EEC 1C062-04115 catalogue number.
Interestingly, the side 2 matrix number is YEX 179-1. This cut was unused in the UK, where all 1st pressings were '-2/-2'.
This rare 2nd pressing copy is on the blue Odeon Label: SMO 74 066
Matrix nos: YEX 178-2 & YEX 179-1
Record
Labels: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: NEAR MINT
Faint name stamp on the side 1 label, just below the track listing.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces appear 'as new' and show just a few wispy paper hairlines directly under halogen light.
Play: NEAR MINT
Rarely played, this copy sounds 'as new' throughout with no significant audible wear.
