Description

Very Rare PMC 1267 Yellow And Black Parlophone UK Label Matrix 579-1 580-1. This is the highly sought after and extremely rare beatles Rubber Soul (Mono). It has not been played much at all. It is totally original and in tact 1st press (especially in this original lovely condition) In my opinion this loud cut version of Rubber Soul has a superior sound to the later (corrected) versions. It has a much more raunchier sound some would say, unpolished but this is more to my taste. This is said to be slightly more increased volume hence "loud" cut. There were only a limited amount pressed and pressing ceased after only one days pressing so as you can imagine to find a vinyl that is excellent plus plus/near mint is extremely rare. The Matrix is the earliest possible for this early 1st press XEX-579-1 580-1 The mother stampers at 3 O'clock side 1 is AL side 2 GL at 9 o'clock side one has the number 2 and side 2 has the number 1. The vinyl is EX+/NM. Has very very few surface marks/scratches. None on audio sound. The audio is crystal clear. The vinyl still retains its original sheen. The labels are EX/NM they have "sold in the UK" across the label. There is minimal spindle wear and the KT tax stamper is on side 2 only. The Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated flip back cover is an EX+/NM showing very little creasing to the laminate. There are no splits or tears or writing. The rear is exceptionally clean. The spine is excellent, no scuffing, the text is clear. No damage to the corners other than a little storage wear. The record is housed in the original Emitex sleeve which is in excellent condition.
