A chance to bid for a true Beatles rarity.An original 1965 first press copy of Rubber Soul and contains the famous LOUD CUT mix which was withdrawn from sale and it's unclear how many were sold as it was replaced quite quickly.The good news is that although there are obvious signs of the vinyl being played and enjoyed it certainly hasn't been trashed.There are many light surface marks and also sleeve removal marks. it plays and sounds absolutely fantastic .I playtest all my vinyl with an Audio Technica VMN95ML Microline cartridge which highlight any slight flaws.There are some low static ticks on some intros and dead wax but nothing to spoil the rich deep Mono sound on whatever system you use.Im sure the winning bidder will be delighted as most copies of the 3 or 4 i've heard of this rare edition were very crackly. I cannot be certain but on one label it looks like an EMI Factory Sample sticker judging by it's shape has been removed and left residue.I've never seen or heard on record selling platforms like Discogs or Beatles info sites of the stampers used also which is very rare.See information above and photos for details of the item for sale.Save for some rounded corners and slight wear the Garrad Lofthouse sleeve is a very nice example.The original Parlophone tracing paper inner sleeve was lost somewhere and i would recommend the current inner be replaced with a high quality modern issue.As always any questions are more than welcome.Good luck and thanks 😊
