Description
This is the Beatles 5th album Rubber Soul in MONO on the black and yellow Parlophone label WITHOUT the sold in U.K. statement. What also makes this extra special is that it is a -5/-5 pressing cut by Hazel Yarwood at EMI Abbey Road. This pressing is deemed by audiophiles as the best ever sounding version.
The record plays with just a hint of background, there are no skips or sticks with just the odd pop here and there. The vinyl surfaces have a lovely sheen to them with just a couple of small non feelable marks on side one.
The labels are nice with a hint of a name in lindstrom £ logo.
The 3 flipback cover is in excellent shape with no writing just the odd small crease under the laminate.
The inner sepia EMI generic ad sleeve is also excellent with no seem splits.
Cat.no. PMC 1267. Matrix XEX 579-5, XEX 580-5. Stamper 2GT, 2AG.
All in all quite a rare record in excellent shape.
