Rubber Soul . 1965
As you might know the Capitol Records was so busy printing this "soon to be platinum" record that some part of it's STEREO production was given to the DECCA records on a contractual basis. One year .1965-66 .
So, what you are looking at here : Ultra Rare Version. Nobody has the " Rubber Soul " with #8 RIAA on a back ! Well , maybe a few lucky ones do .....
According to Perry Cox' book : #8 on a rear - DECCA fabricator identifier There is also : NO " Beatles " on the labels . Only their names ( 1st press confirmation ) NO plant stamp identifier on a dead wax . ( because it wasn't pressed by the Capitol's plants ) Matrix runout : ST-2442- W2P , ST-2442-W4P
Jacket and Vinyl are in VG + condition . Jacket is intact. no writing, no taping. readable spine Vinyl has visual hairlines, light scratches which are NOT affecting playback
