Labels: EXCELLENT

An extremely clean & unblemished pair with nothing more than a small collection of clumsy spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy but do display several light surface marks and the occasional scratch in strong daylight - one of which on track 4 of side 1, measuring 1cm in length is just feelable beneath my fingertips. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no further significant blemishes or wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of any dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT

A 1st class sounding copy of this early, quickly replaced mix which plays clean & clearly throughout. My careful play-check at volume uncovered no evidence of any groove/play wear distortion on any track. There is a hint of light background on 'Michelle' but nowhere near the usual distorted sound found on most copies of this pressing. Both run-ins and all bands play without any significant interference and no clicks or tick produced by the aforementioned scratch. It really is a fine sounding copy which will not disappoint.

Cover

VERY GOOD

A firm & glossy, thick card example displays a clean high-gloss front laminate where the only sign of wear occurs to the front opening where there is a a small amount of flaking/missing laminate. The corners have light rubbing to their extremities but none are torn or split. The rear panel is very clean & bright overall with just some light wear towards the opening edge but definately no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Crisp & white with some light storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
