CONDITION

Disc

Labels: 1. EXCELLENT  2. EXCELLENT -

A clean & bright set with numerous spindle trails to each unworn centre hole & a small 'bubble' inthe paper on 2 where a sticker once stood, but no writing or missing paper.

Visual: VERY GOOD

The playing surfaces of this cherished copy are both clean & bright. Close inspection in strong daylight reveals some faint blemishes in the vinyl as a result of long-term inner-sleeve storage and the discs only major fault - a 4mm 'feelable' scratch at the beginning of track 1, side 1. Careful examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a handful of faint surface marks consistent with normal handling & play, but no further major wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT -

This copy has received a number of plays but clearly only on good quality equipment as the sound throughout is free from any groove or playwear distortion. My single careful play-check at volume found that the aforementioned scratch causes a repeating 'clicks' to the 1st verse only of 'Drive My Car' but there were no other such audible distractions on or between any other track.

Cover

EXCELLENT -

A very strong and firm example which retains a clean & glossy front laminate which bears a few faint 'thumbnail' & spine wrinkles, but no major signs of wear. There is some light bruising to the corners but both opening edges are free from any tears or feathering. The rear panel is extremely clean & white with just a tiny mark in the upper left corner but certainly no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are perfectly clean & undamaged and both seams & the fully worded spine are smooth, unworn & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with just some light, unavoidable storage creasing, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
