Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
An extremely clean & unblemished pair with just a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surface are extremely clean & glossy and are, apart from a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks, unmarked when viewed in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal & careful play, but certainly no scratches or any significant signs of wear. Despite being an usually thin pressing for the time, both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of any dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This careful played copy has received minimal play on good equipment and I could find no significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout. Apart from the usual hint of light background on 'Michelle', there really is little to fault on this clean & warm sounding copy. There are certainly no clicks, pops, ticks or any other such audible blemishes anywhere.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A heavy, glossy & thick card example displays a clean high-gloss front laminate where the only sign of wear is several small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge, but no spine bends or any other creasing or wear. All corners are clean & sharp, free from any bumps or bruising to any. Both opening edges are also clean & sharp with just a touch of wear to the rear. The rear panel is very clean & bright overall with just some light toning towards the opening edge but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Crisp & crisp with some light to moderate age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
