Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & bright, bearing just a small handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Exceptionally clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces on which the only visible blemish in strong daylight is a 2cm light scuff on side 1, which is non-feelable and does not affect sound or play. Close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals little more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve.
Audio: MINT -
Played just a few times with care on quality equipment only, the sound throughout is clean, warm & clear with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or background interference. Even the delicate and easily worn 'Michelle' plays perfectly. Our play-check also detected no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions. A truly great sounding copy from the most refined cutting of this timeless album.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A strong and fully intact example of this hard to find sleeve variation. The front panel laminate is richly coloured and retains a superb high-gloss finish with just a single tiny, faint 'thumbnail' only. and vibrant clean with some moderate storage rubbing and a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle only. There is a hint of shelfwear to the corner tips but no heavy bumps or damage to the opening edges. The exposed rear panel is as clean and white the only trace of age being a couple of tiny age spots on John's left portrait. All flipbacks are in-place and both seams and the spine are in solid, unworn condition.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & uncreased with no writing, tears or seam splits.
