THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'
This superb sounding, barely played UK MONO pressing dates from late 1965 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-4 & XEX 580-4
Stamper codes: 3/GMP & -/GPD
Vinyl weight: 155g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair with no visible marks or spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Perfectly clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces of which side 1 is completely unmarked in strong daylight. Side 2 bears two light, non-feelable scuffs and a few faint inner-sleeve removal marks but certainly nothing I would call a scratch. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp add nothing more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this quality-pressed disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This great sounding copy has received minimal play on quality equipment and all tracks are totally free from any groove/playwear distortion - even the delicate 'Michelle'. My single careful play-check at volume was a joy and detected no clicks, pops or any other audible distraction which detracts from the quality and superiority of the mono cut.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An fine firm & unworn example which retains a perfectly clean & unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate where the only trace of wear is two tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge. There is slight shelfwear to the lower corners & a little rubbing to the upper left, but both opening edges are in excellent shape and free from any tears or feathering.
The exposed rear panel is clean overall with slight age-toning but otherwise unmarked. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean, fully worded and totally unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp & flat with minor age-toning too, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
