Description

Just one of several sealed vintage Beatles LPs I have up for auction this week! Be sure to check them all out!

All are quite scarce and out-of-print!
No counterfeits or bootlegs!

The Beatles on Capitol SMAS 2653 (stereo), "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."

Investment grade Beatles LP, still sealed 1960s USA pressing. Because I personally know the gentleman who owned this LP, I can absolutely guarantee it to be from the 1960s, however I cannot guarantee the exact year. My guess is somewhere from 1967 through '69. You'll have to determine that from looking at the photos I have included below.

Jacket constructed of thick brown pasteboard stock. NM condition, no splits, and the factory shrinkwrap is still completely intact with original store sale sticker.

The shrink wrapper is so tight I cannot see the color of the inner sleeve to ascertain which pressing this might be. There are two breathe holes in the wrapper on the front cover.

This jacket is not a cut out, so no cut corners, no drill holes, and no saw cuts. No writing. Obviously no bar codes or zip codes, either.

The disc in this classic LP is presumed to be in perfect condition. Investing big bucks simply to experience the act of bringing home a new 1960s Beatles LP, removing the shrink wrap, and playing it on a high end turntable is the prerogative of the audiophile for whom money is no object. However, it is key that you understand that the collectability of this album is due to it being unopened. Opening it will not only unnecessarily reduce the number of sealed copies forever, it will destroy the value of the LP. It is like removing the top layer of paint from a Picasso simply to ascertain the condition of the earliest layers. Because I cannot see the condition of the record inside this sealed LP I simply cannot guarantee it to be in perfect playing condition. I guarantee only the condition of the jacket and shrink wrapper, and sealed records are not returnable for any reason if they have been opened by the purchaser.

International add $4 per each additional LP. Double record sets count as two LPs, triple record sets count as three, etc.

I have been selling records professionally by mail for years. It goes without mentioning that I know how to pack your valuable records for safe and speedy shipment, double-boxing when necessary and using industry-preferred boxes and mailers. Please do not neglect to check out the rest of my rare records!
