Rare WIDE SPINE Variant of this COMPLETE and RESPECTABLE all round example of The Beatles ICONIC Album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' released by Parlophone UK in 1967.
The FIRST ISSUE **MONO** VINYL LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim, With Sold in the UK and With Made in Gt. Britain label text.
The official stamped trail out groove matrixes are Side 1: XEX 637-1/Side 2: Matrix: XEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers are 2/AR. Side 2 stampers: 3/AR.
The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
The Vinyl Disc comes in its ORIGINAL Flame Pink and White inner bag together with an ORIGINAL and UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut-Out.
The album is protected in its ORIGINAL Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve, with the Rarer WIDER SPINE mono sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in CLEAN excellent plus condition, with just a few faint spider trails around the centre holes. Side 1 of the Vinyl Disc is in very good plus condition, CLEAN and BRIGHT Vinyl, with a light scratch going across five of the tracks, audiable with a light ‘tick’ to two of the tracks, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Getting Better. Side 2 of the Vinyl Disc is in FINE excellent condition - the Vinyl is extremely CLEAN and BRIGHT, showing few light non-sounding surface hairlines. The Original VERY GLOSSY with DEEP COLOURS, First Issue LAMINATED MONO Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve is in Respectable excellent condition, showing a couple of small corner bruises and some light indentation marks to the front and back of the laminate. The inside of the Gatefold Sleeve is in Very Nice excellent plus condition. The WIDE SPINE edge is UNDAMAGED and the wording 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' clear and legible. The Original Sgt Pepper Cut-Out is COMPLETE and in near mint UNUSED condition, and the Original Made in Gt Britain Flame Coloured Inner Bag is in excellent condition, just some light creasing and a small 2" split to the bottom seam has been neatly repaired with sellotape.
Both sides play EXTREMELY WELL throughout, with the exception of the comments above.
