Description
In my many years on ebay, this is the very first time I have offered a STEREO BUTCHER COVER for auction. Simply because the Stereo versions of this album were produced in such fewer numbers, I've never had enough of them to feel comfortable letting any go. UNTIL NOW, that is.
On top of that, it's an even scarcer RIAA #2 copy--these are almost ALWAYS #5's.
The only "catch" is that the #2 pasted-over covers were attached with the apparent predecessor to Super-glue! Thus, it is a slow painstaking process to remove the paste-over cover. And once it's completed, minor "ghost" images of glue lines remain (see cover scan).
The "up" side is that I go overboard describing any possible "flaw"and in actuality, IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!
It has a few little "nicks" here and there and the seams and spine have had a little "wear 'n repair"--but done so professionally. The back has a little yellowing and small stains from some tape that was removed (see scan). But overall, this is by far a FABULOUS copy of this number one all-time music collectable!
This also comes with the disc AND the record's original yellow Capitol dust sleeve--both in great condition!
