A SUPERB ALL ROUND EXAMPLE, WITH ORIGINAL PAPER PICTURE SLEEVE.
Released by Parlophone UK in 1967, Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane was a No 1 Hit Single for The Beatles. This First Issue UK Vinyl 45 was released on the 17th February 1967, and is on the traditional Black and Silver Parlophone Label with solid centre, with The Gramophone Co Ltd Label rim, with Sold in UK… label text and Made in Gt. Britain on both sides of the record labels, the Vinyl 45 comes in its Original WAVY TOP Thin Paper PICTURE Sleeve and it is understood that 250,000 of these delicate Paper Picture Sleeves were issued worldwide.
Both sides of the **SOLID CENTRE** record labels are in FINE Near Mint condition, BRIGHT, UNDAMAGED labels with nothing more than a few faint centre spider trails.
The official side 1 matrix is 7XCE 18415-1/Side 2 matrix is 7XCE 18416-2. The side 1 stampers are: KT4 GDO, and side two stampers, KT3 LP.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Near Mint condition, the Vinyl is BRIGHT and UNDAMAGED, with no more than a couple of very faint surface hairlines, there are no scratches or scuffs.
This Original UK First Issue PICTURE Sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition, the sleeve is in great condition with no seam splits, no tearing, no hand writing, and no age discolouration, just some mild creasing.
Both sides of the disc play with superb sound quality, without any skips or crackle.
An extremely well cared for example of this rare original UK PICTURE SLEEVE, with it’s original **SOLID CENTRE** vinyl 45 record.
