This poster was issued by Capitol Records to promote the release of the Controversial **FIRST STATE** BUTCHER LP and this was the ONLY Original Promotional Item issued by Capitol using The Butcher cover Photo!
The poster measures 18" x 22" and, as is the case with all Original Examples of this MEGA RARITY, this one displays the Darker Red wording (referred to as Blood Red) 'INCREDIBLE' to the top section of the Poster.
For your information this SIGNIFICANT poster was recently discovered in the garage of a long serving USA Capitol Records employee! It had been stored rolled in a poster tube for almost 30 years!
The Poster is in truly SUPERB and PRESERVED condition. It is extremely CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO Tearing, NO Deterioration to any of the colours, NO Pin Holes and NO Staple Holes, with only just a little light wrinkling to the very outside edge edges on the white border which does not, in any way, affect the main body of the Poster – QUITE REMARKABLE!
