Beatles Savage Young Beatles w/ Pete Best Authentic Savage LP w/ NM Vinyl

I am selling some early, rare, and rather obscure Beatles LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions too.

 In this auction: 

·        “THE SAVAGE YOUNG BEATLES”  by The Beatles including Pete Best 

·        This LP is Savage Records BM 69.

·        It is the MONO (Monaural) PRESSING. 

·        This LP was released in October, 1965.

·        There were 2 issues of this LP, one with an orange cover and yellow label and one with a yellow cover and orange label. It contains cuts from the Beatles’ “Hamburg Days”. The cover states “Recorded by THE BEATLES Hamburg 1961”. This was the time period when they played with Tony Sheridan and when Pete Best was the band’s drummer (pre-Ringo).

·        The record in this auction is the revised edition with the yellow cover. The liner notes on the rear cover differ of this edition differ from the liner notes on the yellow cover issue. The liner notes on this revised issue give more prominence to Pete Best, whose LP “Best Of The Beatles” was also being released by Savage Records.

·        YOU CAN REST ASSURED THAT THIS IS AN ORIGINAL AUTHENTIC PRESSING OF THIS LP. We know this is an original issue (not a counterfeit) because:

1)    Original Covers have BM 69 printed in black on the front

2)    Many counterfeits have “STEREO” on the cover which is NOT on the original cover of this mono LP.

3)    The vinyl is thick and heavy with NO flexibility at all.

·        Here is an early U.S. Beatles pressing when ALL of the record labels (except Capitol Records, of course) were trying to find, gain the rights to and release any and every recording made by The Beatles!

·        The VINYL is in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT CONDITION. There are just a couple of very light surface hairlines/scuffs and lots of gloss! This record was definitely minimally played, for sure!

·        The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG CONDITION. This cover was overall moderate wear, a tiny corner push at lower left corner, slight wear and a little flaking on the top and bottom seams. The spine, which was split, has been nicely repaired. The rear white cover shows some overall aging and some age spotting but remains quite clean. (please see images).

·        IT’S DEFINITELY A HARD-TO-FIND BEATLES LP IN QUITE NICE CONDITION to add to your vinyl collection.
