The Beatles - 'Sgt Peppers' 1967 UK 1st Press MONO Pressing LP
PMC 7027 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' Text & The 'Sold in the UK' Present on all labels
Fully Laminated, Gatefold, Side Loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Matrix Numbers XEX 637-1, XEX 638-1
The Vinyl is graded at VG both records retain their deep gloss finishes. Careful inspection in the strong daylight shows numerous light hairlines consistent with inner sleeve removal and storage. Some light background sound is present with the occasional tick, slightly more noticably between tracks 4 & 5, no jumps or repeats present.
The Cover is in VG condition, a little edge wear on a small 1 cm central part of the spine, the flipbacks are all intact, no feathering to the openings. A very good example.
Red & White inner record sleeve is intact and unstained, the bottom of it has a 3 cm split, which is easily repairable.
No fool card is not present, but they are obtainable if it is that imperative.

All records are graded using the UK Record Collector grading scale:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
