Let me say, first of all, that this is perhaps the best sounding copy of this incredible LP that I have ever heard. The clear, clean Mono sound will give you goosebumps...guaranteed!!!! Simply incredible audio. No groove wear, no crackle, no popping. Even on "She's Leaving Home" and the long piano fade-out to "A Day In The Life", there is nothing but clean, clear audio. A real treat to listen to, and a must-have copy for audiophiles. The glossy vinyl is indeed stunning, with Side 1 being immaculate, and Side 2 with only the lightest of surface marks from handling. The labels are equally as stunning, with all text clear and clean, the centre hole showing minimal wear, and just a few light spindle alignment traces. Once again, extraordinary sound quality. Astounding!!!
The high gloss, laminated gatefold cover is also impressive, with a single crease to the upper left corner and a few small ones along the spine (typical for this cover), but no major creasing. There is some handling wear but nothing serious. The spine text is complete, with a bit of storage "flattening" being the only flaw. Very nice.
The "cut-outs" insert is perfect, with no wear or any other flaw. The "Fool" inner sleeve is also in great shape with a small split on the bottom seam but very little storage creasing or wear.
This record is all about the sound. Simply amazing!!! You will not find better, I'm sure.
