This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl: EX-. Only a few of the lightest of needle marks/scuffs, with only a small amount of dust in the grooves...REALLY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! A good clean and she'll be easily a EX+ grading...As it is now the bass guitar kicks in gorgeously at the start-Instantly putting a smile on your face ;-)

Flat, FLat, FLAT, oh and shiny too.

Labels: EX. Lovely and clean, there are just a few incredibly light spindle marks visible only when angled to the light.

Inner Sleeve: It is the ORIGINAL "Fools" inner: Red/white flame-like. It does have splits to each side, having come away completely from one side-but fixable, I think.....IT IS ORIGINAL! It has done it's job in keeping this record in EX condition.

Cut-Outs: Mint-, just perfect. GLORIOUSLY DARK GREEN in colour on thick card...Nothing else needs to be said!

Cover: EX-. Simply superb!..With just a couple of incredibly small crescent spidering areas, to the front laminate, with slightly more spidering to the back-but nothing to detract from it's outright gorgeousness!
Strong corners.
Gorgeously bright inner picture.
The spine has hardly any wear, all text still legible, just light creasing, that's all-really NOTHING to worry about at all!
CORRECT cover, with "MONO" to the back top right corner.
 Light indentation of a name to the back-visible ONLY when angled to the light and NO INK anywhere....
TO ADD TO IT'S CONDITION-IT IS THE REALLY QUITE RARE "PATENTS PENDING" COPY!! ONLY A VERY FEW OF THESE WERE PRINTED AS THE VERY FIRST PRINTING OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM COVER, UNTIL THE PATENTS WERE GRANTED
