Beatles Sgt. Pepper Original Mono UK pressing from circa 1967
This is NOT a reprint but is an original pressing from around 1967.
Has original special designed inner sleeve. But does not contain the cutout sheet.
PMC 7207
Has the KT price code, and the "Sold In UK, Subject to Resale" print which indicates an authentic original pressing.
COVER = VG The only real concern is an area on the spine which is worn heavily and the print is not legible. The seams and spine are completely intact but there is an area about 3 inches which is heavily worn on the spine. The print below is not legible. Other than that the cover just has some normal creases and rounded corners. Nothing major of concern other than the spine. The laminate is still intact except for the portion along the spine. Were it not for this area along the spine the cover would grade Very Good plus. I would rate the cover about a 6.5 or maybe a 7 out of 10. The rest of the cover is like a normal cover which is 45+ years old. No major flaws just some normal age wear.
RECORD = VG+ Record has some sleeve scuffs and maybe a hairline or two. Sound quality is still very nice. I've test played the whole album and aside from a few random clicks there is no overwhelming or very noticable background noise. Plays quite nicely and has dynamic sound quality. This album would make a really nice play copy but does have some shallow mostly visual marks. Most of these are only visual distractions. I would rate it as about a 7 out of 10.
