Original First UK Mono Pressing
PARLOPHONE PMC 7027 : MATRIX NOs XEX-637-1/XEX-638-1
The vinyl is in Very Good- Condition. Visually there are surface marks / scratches on both sides (Please see the photos) and the record does play with crackling throughout. It doesn't jump or skip at any point and the sound quality is still strong, but there can be ticks / pops. I'd highly recommend summing your cartridge to mono for playback.
The original, cover is in Good+ Condition. It's holding together alright but there is some apparent wear, especially on the spine / openings and on the laminate too. Unfortunately the middle of the spine has collapsed on the inside but the gatefold image still does look rather nice.
Includes the original red/white flame inner sleeve but unfortunately it's completely torn on one side and has huge seam splits too. The record has been put in a different inner sleeve but the original will be included alongside it. Overall it's in poor shape. Unfortunately there is no cutouts sheet included.
This copy is not for the discriminating audiophile, however it is still in a playable condition and it could be nice for anyone who wants to hear the famous original mono mix of this iconic album.
