The vinyl is in Very Good Condition. Visually there are surface marks / scuffs and scratches on both sides (Please see the photos). The record actually plays in a nice VG+ condition for the most part, but there are some rotational ticks / crackle in some places, hence the grading. Fortunately it isn't groove worn like a lot of these copies end up being. "She's Leaving Home" is luckily still quite enjoyable without too much noise and clearly the record has been played on good equipment. It doesn't jump or skip at any point and the sound quality is still strong, but as mentioned there can be ticks / pops and also some rotational ticks caused by some of the scratches, nothing too bad though. I'd highly recommend summing your cartridge to mono for playback, it improves the surface noise / sound quality pretty decently. Overall it's not a perfect LP but it's a good sounding one and quite enjoyable!
The original gatefold cover is in Very Good+ Condition. It's holding together nicely and the front panel image looks great! There's only some slight signs of thumbnail marks on the laminate, some corner bumps, some slight wear to the spine and a small damaged patch on the back cover which you can see in the photos. The inside is quite nice too just with some small spots of wear to the inner flipovers. There's some slight foxing / wear to the openings too but overall it's not too bad and the cover feels great to hold.
Unfortunately it doesn't come with the original red/white flame inner sleeve but the record comes with a plain white inner sleeve from the era that was used in later pressings. This may have been mismatched or it may have been released like this from the factory, I have no way to be sure. That said, the sleeve is from the same era and it's holding up nicely.
Comes with the original cutouts sheet too, although it's looking rather tired and worn.
This copy is not for the most discriminating audiophile, however it is still in a good, playable condition and it could be nice for anyone who wants to hear the famous original mono mix of this iconic album.
