Description
This is an early pressing of Sgt Pepper, bought on the day it was released in the UK by a friend who played it once, hated it(!!!) and sold it to me. He wrote his initials on side 1 centre (MB) before he played it. (See photo). Apart from that, it is in excellent cosmetic condition, with the card insert complete and the original inner sleeve (which is worn away at bottom- see photos).
Outer sleeve is in very good condition for a 49 year old record.
I have not played it for over 20 yrs so I cannot guarantee that it is not scratched but there are no visible marks and it is bright and shiny on both sides. I always took great care of my records (cleaned them before playing every time etc) and I am pretty sure that it plays well.
